Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security while maintaining 99.99% uptime
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud platforms with zero-downtime strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools
- Implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana) and incident response protocols
- Conduct capacity planning and cost optimization initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of infrastructure code
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in senior roles
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) with relevant certifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure automation tools
- Strong background in network security, IAM, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architectures
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex infrastructure projects from conception to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
