Responsibilities
- Research & Development: Design and implement novel deep learning architectures to solve complex, unstructured problems.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize large-scale transformer models for production environments.
- Data Strategy: Oversee data curation, cleaning, and pipeline architecture for training datasets.
- Deployment: Collaborate with MLOps engineers to ensure seamless model inference and scalability.
- Publication: Contribute to high-impact academic papers and patent filings.
- Mentorship: Guide junior researchers and PhD candidates in technical best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in deep learning, NLP, or Computer Vision.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of transformer models, attention mechanisms, and generative AI techniques.
- Tools: Experience with distributed training frameworks (Ray, Horovod) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
