Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Automate deployment pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Implement robust monitoring and security protocols using Prometheus, Grafana, and HashiCorp Vault
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance through FinOps practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in AWS/GCP
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation
- Certifications in AWS/GCP or Kubernetes preferred
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Proven track record of leading complex infrastructure migrations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with large-scale distributed systems
