Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated deployments
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and architectural improvements
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning for critical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies and network segmentation
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to define service level objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Proficiency in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience with infrastructure security frameworks (CIS benchmarks, SOC 2)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
