We are seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the transition to secure, scalable hybrid-cloud environments. Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain secure hybrid-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Lead containerization initiatives using Kubernetes and Docker to enhance deployment velocity.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement robust DevSecOps pipelines and automated compliance checks.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) utilizing Terraform and Ansible to ensure configuration consistency.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional project teams.
- Conduct performance tuning and cost-optimization analysis for large-scale cloud resources.
- Lead incident response efforts and root-cause analysis for high-priority production outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and systems engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure cloud services and underlying infrastructure networking.
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation tasks.
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
