Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex web and mobile applications
- Execute manual and automated testing, including regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution
- Develop and enhance automated testing scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and other industry-standard tools
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical defects and recommend preventive measures
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality assurance processes
- Stay current with emerging testing technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with at least 2 years in automation testing
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and programming languages (Python, Java)
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Expertise in defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and database testing (SQL)
- Certified Tester (CTFL) or ISTQB certification preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a passion for quality
