Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud architectures on AWS and Azure platforms
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical production systems
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM, network security, and compliance monitoring
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
- Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (8+ years)
- Expert certification in AWS Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus) and log aggregation
- Strong background in network security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud environments for cost and performance
