Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation for microservices architecture
- Architect Kubernetes clusters for high-availability applications
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and security frameworks (Splunk, HashiCorp Vault)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize cloud costs while ensuring scalability
- Mentor junior engineers and drive infrastructure best practices
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and incident response leadership
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in AWS/GCP specialization
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Advanced knowledge of networking (VPC, VPN, load balancing) and security hardening
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator)
- Proven track record of reducing infrastructure costs by 30%+
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
