Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency
- Lead CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Implement monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Conduct capacity planning and disaster recovery testing
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Proven track record of designing high-availability systems
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPC, VPN, load balancing)
- Certifications (AWS/GCP Architect preferred)
