Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles and reduce technical debt.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and costs across production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the infrastructure lifecycle.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of code review and technical documentation.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and implementation to ensure 99.99% system uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Deep expertise in AWS or GCP services including EKS, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Proven proficiency in scripting and programming with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong knowledge of observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
