Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available multi-region cloud environments on AWS and GCP.
- Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD workflows to accelerate deployment cycles across production environments.
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis to improve system reliability and uptime.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud architecture and security.
- Optimize cloud consumption patterns to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising performance.
- Collaborate with product and security teams to build resilient, compliant system architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure engineering (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration at scale.
- Advanced knowledge of IaC tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and DNS management.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed system issues in a high-traffic production environment.
