Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead container orchestration initiatives with Kubernetes and Docker
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture improvements and monitoring
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure seamless integrations
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS services and certification (AWS Solutions Architect Pro)
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline optimization
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
