Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure, high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management strategies
- Lead incident response and system troubleshooting for production environments
- Mentor engineers on infrastructure-as-code and SRE principles
- Collaborate with security teams to implement compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Drive innovation through container orchestration (Kubernetes) and serverless solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure engineering with AWS/GCP expertise
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) or equivalent practical experience
- Background in monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana) and observability
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills in distributed systems
