NexusScale Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our core engineering team in San Francisco. Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable code deployments.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, and security.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-mortem analysis for system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to integrate scalable cloud solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or site reliability engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS (EKS, RDS, Lambda) or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible/Chef).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Understanding of modern security protocols and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
