Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and deployments.
- Optimize cloud spending through rigorous resource monitoring and architectural efficiency analysis.
- Design robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles and improve developer velocity.
- Lead incident response and perform deep-dive troubleshooting for complex production system outages.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to drive best practices in containerization (Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation).
- Expert-level knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes (K8s), and Docker.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices in the cloud.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in large-scale distributed systems under pressure.
