Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Architect high-availability systems with multi-region deployments and disaster recovery protocols
- Optimize cloud costs through FinOps strategies and resource automation
- Lead security compliance initiatives including SOC 2 and HIPAA frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and drive infrastructure-as-code best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with AWS/Azure expertise
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and SRE principles
- Certification (AWS/Azure Architect or equivalent) required
- Experience with observability platforms (Datadog, New Relic)
- Proven track record of migrating monolithic systems to cloud-native architectures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to operate in ambiguous environments
