Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures while ensuring 99.99% uptime
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM policies, network security, and compliance monitoring
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud costs and performance
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for cloud operations
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization technologies
- Strong background in Linux system administration and automation scripting (Python, Bash)
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and log aggregation systems
- Deep understanding of network security principles and compliance standards (GDPR, SOC2)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience leading infrastructure projects in agile environments
