NexusScale Systems is seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the architecture, automation, and scalability of our global cloud footprint. You will play a pivotal role in transitioning our legacy infrastructure into a cloud-native, serverless-first environment, empowering our development teams to ship faster and more securely.
We are looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of Site Reliability Engineering and Cloud Architecture, passionate about high-availability systems and developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Optimize cloud cost architecture to maximize performance while minimizing expenditure.
- Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless deployment cycles.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce zero-trust networking and compliance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud engineering.
- Analyze system performance metrics and drive remediation efforts for infrastructure bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or SRE roles.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS services (EKS, Lambda, RDS, IAM).
- Deep expertise in Terraform and configuration management tools (Ansible/Chef).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- In-depth understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with observability platforms like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
