The Department of Technology and Innovation is seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead our mission-critical migration to secure, hybrid-cloud environments. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable, resilient systems that serve millions of citizens while maintaining the highest standards of federal security compliance.

Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) tailored for federal operational needs.
- Lead the migration of legacy on-premise applications to containerized microservices.
- Establish and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform and Ansible.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement zero-trust architecture and FedRAMP compliance.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices for CI/CD pipeline automation and site reliability engineering (SRE).
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and ensure 99.99% availability for mission-critical portals.
- Provide strategic oversight on cloud spend optimization and resource governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 4 years focused on cloud infrastructure.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud platforms, with relevant professional certifications.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects within government or highly regulated industries.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker) and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST security frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical teams.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
