Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-availability cloud architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP for mission-critical government services.
- Lead the migration of legacy on-premises workloads to secure, compliant cloud environments.
- Collaborate with inter-agency stakeholders to define IT roadmaps and security posture.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery while maintaining rigorous security standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on cloud best practices and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
- Manage cloud service providers and optimize operational costs within federal budgetary constraints.
- Implement proactive monitoring and disaster recovery strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems architecture and cloud infrastructure management.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP with professional-level certification.
- Proven track record of managing complex IT projects within the federal or public sector.
- Strong understanding of FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Terraform, Ansible, or Python.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a high-level government security clearance.
