Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud architectures for cost, performance, and security compliance
- Lead CI/CD pipeline transformations using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD
- Automate cloud operations through Python/Go scripts and infrastructure monitoring
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and execute blue-green deployments
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud-native best practices
- Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security into cloud workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go)
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps)
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid architectures
- Demonstrable success in optimizing cloud cost and performance
- Background in financial services or healthcare compliance (HIPAA/PCI-DSS)
