Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery cycles.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Monitor system performance, implement robust logging, and manage incident response protocols.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Kubernetes.
- Enforce security best practices across all cloud environments to ensure compliance.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for cloud architecture and automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
- Deep proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Advanced knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with modern observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
