Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructure compliant with FedRAMP and agency security protocols.
- Lead the migration of legacy on-premise systems to modern cloud environments using DevOps best practices.
- Define technical strategy for cloud resource management, cost optimization, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, security analysts, and policy makers.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Ensure system reliability and high availability through rigorous monitoring and testing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on government or public sector projects.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional).
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data privacy laws, and federal compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
