Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ensure strict compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and other federal security standards and regulations.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical decision-making for high-impact government programs.
- Develop strategies for seamless migration to hybrid cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance and reduce operational costs.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, software engineering, or systems administration.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proven experience in large-scale government or enterprise IT environments.
