Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop and enforce cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies, tools, and services to recommend strategic adoption and integration.
- Oversee the migration of on-premise applications and data to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational management (Infrastructure as Code).
- Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices across all cloud deployments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in IT with at least 5 years specifically in cloud architecture and engineering roles.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying solutions on multiple public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with relevant certifications preferred.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js) for automation and development.
- Strong background in network architecture, security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
