Responsibilities
- Design and execute global Phase II-III clinical trials with robust protocols and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams including CROs, medical monitors, and biostatisticians
- Ensure GCP compliance and regulatory submissions (EMA/FDA)
- Analyze complex clinical data and generate actionable insights for leadership
- Optimize trial budgets exceeding $10M while maintaining quality standards
- Represent Novartis at international investigator meetings and scientific conferences
Qualifications
- MSc/PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field with 7+ years clinical research experience
- Proven track record in oncology/immunology therapeutic area
- Certification as a CRA (ACRP/SoCRA) or equivalent industry certification
- Expertise in eClinical platforms (e.g., Medidata Rave, Veeva Vault)
- Strong leadership managing international cross-functional teams
- Fluency in English and German; additional languages highly valued
