Responsibilities
- Design and implement clinical informatics solutions across 15+ hospital departments
- Lead EHR system optimization projects for Epic and Cerner platforms
- Analyze clinical workflows to identify automation opportunities
- Develop data visualization dashboards for executive decision support
- Train 200+ clinicians on new health IT systems and protocols
- Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) across all systems
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype AI-driven clinical decision support tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, or related field
- 5+ years implementing clinical systems in hospital environments
- Epic/Cerner certification with 3+ years hands-on experience
- Expertise in healthcare data analytics and SQL
- Strong project management skills with PMP or CPHIMS preferred
- Proven ability to translate clinical needs into technical specifications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through digital transformations
- Knowledge of 21st Century Cures Act and interoperability standards
