Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate clinical data models for electronic health records and clinical trial databases
- Perform statistical analysis and data visualization for patient outcomes research
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for clinical studies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDA regulations, and data governance standards
- Lead the implementation of ETL processes for healthcare data integration
- Present analytical findings to executive stakeholders and clinical leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in clinical data analysis within healthcare settings
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, R, and Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn)
- Certification in clinical data management (e.g., CDISC, CDMP) preferred
- Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) or clinical trial databases
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to regulatory compliance
