Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing compliant engineering solutions and construction documentation
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for complex urban projects
- Utilize advanced software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, GIS) for modeling, analysis, and design optimization
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and international building codes
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, SWMM) and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of delivering complex transportation or water resource projects
- Strong knowledge of sustainable infrastructure practices and LEED certification
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to navigate regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated client management experience
