Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of transportation networks, drainage systems, and public infrastructure projects
- Perform hydraulic modeling, structural analysis, and geotechnical evaluations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads
- Lead project coordination with municipal agencies, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop cost estimates, construction schedules, and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Research and implement sustainable infrastructure solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- PE license in Texas
- 8+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure design
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM) and BIM software
- Demonstrated success with TxDOT and Harris County project protocols
- Strong project management and client communication skills
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of 5+ engineers
