Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects including roadways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with TXDOT and municipal regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality control reviews for technical documentation
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure challenges in urban environments
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders including contractors and government agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and GIS platforms
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects over $10M
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal design standards
- Excellent written communication skills for technical reports and proposals
