Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of large-scale transportation corridors and stormwater management systems
- Oversee construction administration and compliance with TxDOT and FEMA regulations
- Develop innovative infrastructure solutions using Civil 3D, Revit, and GIS mapping technologies
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including environmental specialists and structural engineers
- Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and permit documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license (Texas required)
- 8+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure and transportation projects
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record managing $10M+ public infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with TxDOT standards, FEMA floodplain regulations, and LEED certification
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder engagement and public presentations
