Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of major civil infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Conduct detailed hydraulic modeling and geotechnical analysis using industry-standard software
- Prepare technical specifications, contract documents, and construction drawings compliant with Australian standards
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (transport, environmental, structural) to ensure project integration
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Stay current with evolving regulations and sustainable infrastructure practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years' experience in civil infrastructure design
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12d, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with complex infrastructure delivery in urban environments
- Strong project management skills with successful delivery history
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholder management experience
