Responsibilities
- Design and oversee execution of complex transportation and utility infrastructure projects
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from feasibility to construction
- Develop detailed hydraulic models for stormwater management systems
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE license required
- 8+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing large-scale transportation or water projects
- Familiarity with Houston-area permitting processes
- Strong technical writing and client presentation skills
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Experience with BIM/CIM integration
