Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects, from concept to completion.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure strict adherence to UK Building Regulations and safety standards.
- Utilize advanced BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD) to create precise 3D models and technical drawings.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure milestones are met.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and tender documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies on-site.
Qualifications
- Recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng).
- Chartered status (MICE) or working towards full chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the UK construction industry.
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Valid CSCS Card and IPAF certification.
- Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation (COSHH, Manual Handling).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
