Meridian Infrastructure Group is seeking a visionary Senior Civil Engineer to lead our Land Development division in Austin, TX. Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the design and delivery of complex site development plans.
- Execute advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for innovative stormwater management systems.
- Navigate municipal permitting, zoning, and entitlement processes with local regulatory agencies.
- Manage full project lifecycles including budgeting, resource allocation, and client relationship management.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff and perform rigorous quality control reviews.
- Coordinate seamlessly with utility providers and government bodies to secure project approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in land development or site civil engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and industry-standard modeling software (HEC-RAS, PondPack).
- Deep understanding of Austin Land Development Code (LDC) and regional environmental regulations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from initial concept through construction completion.
