Responsibilities
- Lead the design and production of complex site development plans, including grading, drainage, and utility systems.
- Manage project lifecycles by coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to ensure sustainable stormwater management solutions.
- Oversee the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
- Mentor junior engineering staff, providing technical guidance and performing rigorous quality control reviews.
- Represent the firm at public hearings and client meetings to secure project approvals and entitlements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in land development and site civil engineering.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu.
- Demonstrated track record of managing municipal permitting processes in the Greater Houston area.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing project budgets and timelines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for high-stakes stakeholder presentations.
