Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and water treatment facilities.
- Oversee project lifecycles, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure construction compliance with engineering designs and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, construction drawings, and specifications using advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and municipal stakeholders.
- Manage junior staff and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, provincial, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Provincial Engineering License (P.Eng) in Ontario is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MS Project.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes (NBCC) and environmental standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of leading project teams and managing client relationships.
