Responsibilities
- Lead the design and planning of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and prepare detailed reports on soil conditions and structural integrity.
- Utilize advanced software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) to create precise technical drawings and blueprints.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and municipal stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and federal codes.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience considered).
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil design and project management.
- Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD software suites.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and environmental regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on technical documentation.
