Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects from conception through construction completion.
- Design & Analysis: Develop detailed civil drawings, site plans, and grading plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and optimize resource allocation to ensure profitability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and government agencies.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports and feasibility studies to senior management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Project.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of structural analysis, hydrology, and geotechnical engineering principles.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong leadership skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites throughout the Bay Area.
