Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including roadways, grading, and drainage systems.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Oversee the preparation of technical reports, permit applications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including city agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project viability.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical review processes.
- Ensure full compliance with local codes, ordinances, and industry safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in site civil design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software.
- Proven track record of navigating complex municipal permitting processes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing engagements.
