Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, and site infrastructure.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure timely delivery within financial constraints.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and contractors, to ensure cohesive project integration.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and contract documents.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (MEng preferred).
- Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (ICE) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in civil engineering design and construction.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Eurocodes, and health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to stakeholders.
