The Role:
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from conceptual design to final construction administration. You will lead a team of junior engineers, liaise with clients, and ensure all projects meet regulatory standards and safety codes.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Analysis: Oversee the design of roads, bridges, water systems, and public facilities using advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery on schedule.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal codes (OSHA, building codes) and obtain necessary permits.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting technical data, reports, and design concepts effectively.
- Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, quality control, and safety protocols on-site.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, feasibility studies, and construction documents for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) or related field required.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and hydraulic engineering principles.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
