Responsibilities
- Lead Design Initiatives: Oversee the technical design and planning of complex civil infrastructure projects, including bridges, highways, and water systems.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure construction quality, safety compliance, and adherence to blueprints and local regulations.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to deliver projects on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients, government officials, and internal teams to align project goals and resolve technical challenges.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all engineering designs and construction practices strictly adhere to OSHA regulations and environmental standards.
- Technical Analysis: Perform geotechnical analysis and structural calculations to validate engineering solutions and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory for this position.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Bentley Civil, or similar BIM software.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering, hydrology, and structural analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
