Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of complex civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and site development.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery within scope and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, urban planners, and construction managers, to integrate technical solutions.
- Conduct on-site inspections and manage construction quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).
- Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and high-quality drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Ensure all engineering practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations (NYC, NYS DOT).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MS Project.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex data to stakeholders clearly.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
