Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead the design and execution of complex civil engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure all designs comply with UK building regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and delivering regular progress reports.
- Team Management: Mentor junior engineers and supervise site teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, manage material procurement, and control construction costs effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree (BEng) or Master’s degree (MEng) in Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Status: Fully chartered status with the ICE or equivalent professional body.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or Bentley MicroStation.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in civil infrastructure, construction management, or structural engineering.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting technical data to non-technical audiences.
