Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including site plans, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
- Oversee project lifecycles from conceptualization through to final construction closeout.
- Utilize advanced software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) to create detailed technical drawings and models.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and government agencies.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering and infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and hydrological principles, soil mechanics, and structural basics.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and certifications.
