Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical supervision of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Manage site operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations (HSE).
- Prepare detailed project reports, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
- Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with UK building codes and industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the project team.
- Ensure all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (MEng is preferred).
- Chartered status (MICE or CEng) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of at least 5-7 years in civil engineering, preferably within the UK construction sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
