Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects (transportation, water systems, urban development)
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA)
- Conduct site investigations and develop geotechnical recommendations
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality control processes
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with ADA, OSHA, and local building codes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expertise in structural design and infrastructure modeling
- Proven project management with PMP certification
- Strong knowledge of Houston's zoning and permitting processes
- Experience with sustainable design practices (LEED AP+)
- Exceptional communication and client presentation skills
