Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases from feasibility studies to final handover
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Utilize BIM/CIM technologies for 3D modeling and project visualization
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and structural assessments
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation using industry-leading software
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative innovation within the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale municipal infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of LEED and sustainable engineering practices
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
